Makes one wonder how in the "h__l" The American Red Cross - a non profit
entity has the funds to send to HSUS another non profit entity???? So goes
democracy.

I'll tell you why. HSUS is an approved 1st responder to a disaster by
FEMA...the Federal Emergency Management Agency. They go in and set up animal
care and rescue.
We should be working to see such status is revoked but who else would do
what they do now? None of the "Good Guys" have the organization or the
means.
I personally find the revolting...an organization dedicated to the
obiteration of companion animals and animal agriculture getting kudo's and
financial support from the Red Cross. Add to that the millions they get in
donations from unsuspecting, well meaning individuals.
