Tripe is the reticulated section of the cows fore stomachs. It
stinks..fermenting grass!!!It is very nurishing as it has bacteria and enzymes
as long as it
is fed fresh...Its the first thing wolves eat when they kill a deer etc...The
"grass" is digestable by a rumenating animal(cows etc) but not by dogs a s
they lack the enzymes to dogest grass...thus they are Carnivors Tripe and
Oatmeal for most of the GSD history in Europe have been the normal food for
GSDs....Chuck
