My sister has a small 13 year old skip who has a pancreas problem. Mariah, the dog, is doing well now but is due for her rabies shot. My sister is in a quandary as to what to do, and spoke with her vet about not giving the shot. Her vet told her that although she would always be treated at their office, there might be difficulty with other vet offices refusing to see the dog should something happen since she wouldn't be up to date on her rabies vaccine. My sister lives in Maryland and wanted me to gather any opinions that she could use to make a decision about this matter. Any input would be appreciated.
