I'm on my second one (couldn't find a battery replacement for the first one)
and still like the convenience of it in my entry and kitchen. I had to lift
all my Persian Rugs when we got Magnum last year as he thought the fringes
were soothers and got an added benefit that the itching of my other girl was
reduced a little, so they've stayed rolled up. However, unless I run the
Roomba everyday and empty it everyday, it can't keep up to the amount of
hair that she sheds. I still use a big Kenmore for heavy duty cleaning but
the Roomba does replace sweeping after dinner. I currently have the Green
2.1 Version which allows you to update your software. Now I just need to
find someone who knows how to tweak the programs.
Still love it but recognize its limitations. It's not a BIG POWERVAC, it's
a broom replacement.

I have one, Roomba Intelligent Floor Vac (can't find a model # ) I

don't use mine. It seemed like such a great idea, but the recepticle for
debris is so small it doesn't do for hair from a GS, LOL, and I have
oriental rugs over carpet. The rugs have fringe, and the Roomba is not
good with fringe.
