Christine,
While I certainly sympathize with you, the information as to the dog's name
and owners are taken from the catalog and in this case in the
Maturity/Futurity section there is no indication of Berry being a champion.
Unfortuantely, all of the Futurity/Maturity entry information reflects the
information (including owners) at the time they were shown in the Regional
shows. Don't know if there's anyway to correct that unless owners were to
provide accurate information contrary to what is printed in the catalog when
they know their dog is going to appear on the Cover. I don't really think
anybody is to blame on this particular instance.
Insofar as the Futurity/Maturity Victor/Victrix - I remember in years past
the sign on the photo used to state both "Maturity Victor" or "Maturity
Victrix" along with Best In or Best Opposite In Maturity/Futurity. This
apparently is no longer the case; even according to the GSDCA National
Catalog, there is no designation for that particular title - only Best In
and Best Opposite In; the only place Victor or Victrix is even mentioned is
in the area allotted for recording the Select Dogs and Select Bitches.
