How many are aware that Metronidizole causes birth defects if used on pregnant
females? I just found this out today as a friend of mine has a female that was
ultra-sounded last week, said she was not pregnant and was put on Metron for
diarrhea (all her dogs were sick and one was diagnosed with giarrdia). I am
doing some more research as the manuals at the vet's office do not indicate the
types, severity, or "odds" of defects.....
