One thing I can tell you is after you have helped with a national in your
backyard and found out how much work it is for the local folks then you are not
so excited about hosting it every year. When you get to become one of the
Gophers, Go for this and go for that, you don't get to enjoy the national much.
I bet that if you put the national in KC for 3 years in a row by the end of the
3rd year the locals would be begging it to be some place else so that they
could go enjoy the show :0) the middle people, the flat landers, say the coasts
are way too far to drive yet they expect the coasters to drive to the middle
land. Why is that ????

should stay until we take another vote.

lol - i always find it interesting that those who want the national to be
in a permanent central location LIVE near ... are in the SAME STATE as....
are in EASY driving distance of .... that suggested permanent national
location. as a left, and obviously WRONG coaster, it's really unpleasant to
be
disenfranchised. you want to subsidize our yearly travel expenses if this
were to be done? i doubt it.
going by the reports from those who toured the facilities last weekend, it
sounds like purina could be a great location for the national every other
year, when it rotates to central. every year? not so much.

It is difficult to fly dogs any where now. That is even more reason to
have the National in as centrally located facility as possible. I was at the
Purina tour last Sat and this place has it all. Even the GSDCA board
that was looking for reasons not to like it, had to. Purina is bending over
backwards to give us EVERYTHING we could possible want in a show site.
It sure would be great to show in a facility that was designed for Showing
Dogs instead of horses for a change.
