My last litter was 10 years ago but it feels like 100. Some things are just
age appropriate. I can no longer go charging through airports with two dogs
in crates, suitcase carefully balanced on top, hoping the car rental agency
was close and without stairs, that my rented van awaited, that there was a
market on the way to the headquarters hotel for bottled water, that my room
was on the ground floor, that there was a hose connection we could use,
that my handler had arrived, and that I didn't forget anything.
Too soon old, too late smart.
