Kirkland dog food, so I won't be getting any "breeder packet" thingies from
any major brands. Right now I'm thinking send them with papers, a copy of

eating when they're ready to go home--so if the new people want they'll have
time to gradually switch them to a new food. Any other ideas? I can't spend

fortune, or I'd send them all with half the toy section from Petco, lol, but
I'd love to put a little something together.

Its been a long time since I've had a litter, but I don't think I'll change
much when I breed next year and hopefully have puppies. Along with the blue
slips I gave to my puppy buyers a copy of the Monks of New Skete's puppy book,
a
bag of Wysong growth (5lb bag) and a bottle of Glyco Flex. I spent a great
deal of time talking with the new owners about nutrition, housebreaking, and
any other information about the breed that they wanted to know. I gave them the
Glyco Flex because if I just recommended they give it to the puppies I knew
many would not bother to try to find it. By giving it to them I was assured
that at least they would have the benefit of it for a while. Same with the
Wysong, which I believe to be one of the best commercial foods out there. Just
think about what information you want to impart, and what kind of a start you
want
to give those puppies and go from there.
