I would like to remind everyone about the portrait raffle to benefit DM  
research.  
 
We are raffling off a 16 x 20 color portrait of your dog (does not have to  
be a German Shepherd, can be any breed or a mixed breed), which is so 
graciously  being donated by the well known and talented artist, Syd Mailberg.  
Syd  
will donate a portrait of the winning ticket holder's dog (one dog), with a  
"portrait" background, value $500.  The winner of the raffle must provide a  
good 
quality, close-up photo of their dog's head to Syd for the portrait to be  
painted.
 
All funds collected from this raffle will be sent to the American German  
Shepherd Dog Charitable Foundation, where they will be matched by the 
Foundation  
then sent to Dr. Clemmons.

Raffle tickets cost 1 ticket for $20, 2 tickets for $30, 6 tickets for $60  
and 15 tickets for $100.
 
Checks or money orders must be postmarked by August 30, while tickets  
purchased via Paypal can be purchased up until midnight, September 14.  The  
winning 
ticket will be drawn on September 15.

help to fund DM research and possibly lead to the eradication of this  
heartbreaking disease.
