It made my heart ache for that dog being forced into the water. When a dog
trusts everything you ask it to do & THEN you do something like the stupid
handler/owner did the wrong thing. Poor dogs when humans are so stupid and
are pressured by others for some kind of success. I talked about that with
my excellent trainer this morning. She said when she worked in the motion
picture business back in the late 80's the directors pressured her to do
things with her dog that he was NOT trained or prepared to do. She told me
she had the courage to refuse the demands rather than subject her dog to
what you see in this video. This inexperienced trainer in that video
pressured by the crew exhibited by a great many directors. You can clearly
see that that poor shepherd soul had no water experience, what a crying
shame & now it becomes further ammunition for PETA, etc. Kathy Partch
