Sandy - without knowing all the facts and assuming there is more to the
story.... but just addressing what you stated in your email.....exhibitors
enter their dogs with the hope that it is a major, but if the show doesn't make
a major, why would you travel to it and pay a handler fee when you don't need
single points?
You will also have breeders that enter their dogs in multiple shows on the
same weekend and go where the numbers are the best for them inadvertantly
breaking majors or eliminating the points on a small entry.
Now what I do hate is when people show up, size up the competition, decide
their dog can't win, and pull it, breaking the major. This happens all the
time. If you ask the owner, the dog is usually sick, has pano, or some other
"ailment" that keeps it from being shown.

n this area. We are lucky to get a two point show built.This person and he=
r friends are the reason alot of new folks don't want to show dogs here.The=
ir lack of respect for other exhibitors and their dogs have ruined an area=
that once was a good area to show in .I am sad to say our area is being de=
stoyed by these people .We can't even build a club here because new people =
don't want to deal with their attitudes and poor sportmanship ring side.Any=
suggestions from you please.Just want to enjoy a nice dogshow weekend wit=
h the other folks ringside without incident.What can we do about these peop=
le and their causing problems and havoc ringside. Help us clean up please
