Many people do not know that Petco and Petsmart do not, and have NEVER sold
puppies. I work at Petsmart, and I go around telling people to never go to
a pet store for a dog. I give out our local kennel club's breeder referral
number at work. It's so sad to see people with their "brand new puppies!"
that come into our store for their supplies. I just gave a 10 week old
Shiba Inu puppy his first bath, and I could not get the terrible smell off
of his little belly. He was purchased that day from a local PET STORE, and
he was "just $200 because he has a cataract!" The poor baby was probably
never out of his smelly cage. His body was actually stained with odor.
Makes me ill.
