One idea that I had when the large rescue of GSDs in IL happened two years ago
was to contact the Pet Supply catalogs...some may donate some items; some
won't, but after I made all my selections I gave them my credit card number and
had them ship the supplies directly to the shelter involved.
Perhaps if someone can gather names and addresses of the shelters in the areas
affected some of us will be able to help that way; I know I had boxes of
shampoos, conditioners, and toys delivered. This is just a thought on one way
to help the animals, but we need shelter names and addresses and contact people.
