I've probably got you all beat. 5 or 6 years ago I took a limping bitch (OFA H&E) to the vet - no sign of an injury. At her age my much-trusted vet assumed it must be some sort of injury, so we walked her up and down the big grassy hill in front of the clinic, all over the parking lot, until Dave finally said he couldn't see anything to do but x-ray (he's always good about not being in a hurry to spend my money). He flipped the film on the viewer for me to see while saying "I've read about this in the journals, but never seen it until today." Annie was five and a half years old with very obvious pano. Since then I've never discounted the possibility of pano, regardless of age. In a message dated 12/23/2008 1:01:25 P.M. They took her to a vet who diagnosed Pano. Told them the x-ray showed inflamation of the long bones in her leg. Has anyone ever heard of a 3 year old with Pano? The vet put the dog on steroids. any thoughts? Sue T ============================================================================ POST is Copyrighted 2008.
