**The Breeder's Code of Ethics** isn't really about people......... It's
about The German Shepherd Dog (or name your breed of dog).=0D

Have any of you read the Rottweiller Code of Ethics? I've attached the
Golden State's Rottie Code. It's tight, rigid and any other word you wan=

to call it. I read it and thought, **if this were in place with our bree=

so many dogs and bitches just wouldn't qualify.**=0D

These Rottie Breeders are working people just like we are... Hobbiests w=
ho
spend plenty on testing their animals, hiring handlers and traveling. Ye=

they have all signed this difficult Code to better their breed. Why? An=

why are we so *undisciplined?*=0D

What kind of GSDs would be have in 5 yrs, 10 yrs or 20 yrs if we phased t=
his
in, too?=0D

It would be easy to predict that only the true Breeder would remain. The
*test the water* kind of Breeder would be long gone. We might have price=

dogs because there might be less litters on the ground. Good litters tho=
ugh
