If anyone is driving on 69 through Oklahoma and I-75 and I-45 through Texas
here's some information for you.
69 South of the Indian Nations Turnpike. A lot of small towns and a lot of
them are speed traps watch your speed.
Once you get to Texas 69 becomes I-75 until you are past downtown Dallas.
There is construction on I-75, north of Plano. Try to time your trip so that
your are not using this during morning rush hour or you might tear your hair
out.
I-75 becomes I-45 south of downtown Dallas. This section of highway is
patrolled by the Dallas County Sheriff's Dept. and they would be happy to
give you a ticket. Speed limit is 60.
I-45 south of I-20 Wlimer & Ferris need the money from speeders. The
Dallas County Sheriffs, various municipal police and the Texas State police all
compete to give tickets. If you have time, exit at Malloy Bridge Rd. go east
(left) at the 4 -way stop, take the first right and watch the GSDCA Herding
Trial going on at End Gate Ranch. Bonnie & Clyde once abandoned a car on
Malloy Bridge Rd. in one of their get aways.
There is construction around Rice. Sam's is a good place to eat in
Fairfield. If something smells awful when you're going through Buffalo,
it's not doggie flatulence, it's just Buffalo. Gas is plentiful and in a
lot of places regular is less than $3.00 per gallon.
