I guess we will get Health Cert. for Ohio.
We travel with a binder that has: vaccine records for each dog, their
picture, and their info (date of birth, names and call name, microchip info)
and their regular vet name and phone number. If going to shows, the show
info goes in the binder. If visiting relatives, the info of someone at the
point of destination is included. You never know when you can get sick, or
have an accident. There is also a document that asks that my brother be called
if we are not able to take care of the dogs.
As we travel with our dogs all the time, we have never needed a health
certificate while driving, but one has always been requested (and secured) when
flying with dogs. Here is the funny thing: Not ONCE in 20+ years has any
airline employee even looked at the health certificate. We still get them,
just in the off chance that one day someone will do their job right <G>.

I received this response from Ohio when I questioned the need for health
certs when flying or driving, into their state:
"The dog will need to be accompanied by a certificate of veterinary
inspection issued within 30 days prior to entry and a current rabies
