That's exactly what I was supposed to do when I was an observer, nothing else.

Possibly I misunderstood the Observer's job.......but I always understood the
Observer was there to observe the Judge's temperament test....?..... to insure
that they temperment tested EVERY dog exactly the same?? Equally....?
NOT to make a judgement call on any dog's temperament?
According to some of these posts ....many seem to think there is no need for an
observer as they cannot 'see' the true temperament on the dog that the judge is
evaluating for the observer to make a proper evaluation???
The observer is not supposed to make an evaluation of the dogs temperament.
as I understand it.
Most are not judges.....just fellow exhibitors, breeders, etc. that are
willing to make
a committment to be there and "observe" the actual test on each dog. Not the
dog.
I understood they were there merely to observe to insure every dog was
being tested exactly the same according to the contract the judge
signs..........??
