I haven't been given permission to cross post this message yet (I'm hoping 
that the poster will eventually give it to me) but the thought of someone's 
great GSD bitch being spayed without their knowledge bothers me.  Perhaps 
someone on this list knows who this dog belonged to?
It comes from my tracking list.

I hope this is allowed. I'm fostering a gorgeous German Shepherd bitch that 
was brought to me at a dog show this weekend. Straight from a kill shelter 
in Indiana. This bitch is not only gorgeous and moves like a dream with and 
has rear better than most, BUT she is also obedience trained to the T! She 
heals, stops when I stop...and watches. I proceed she heals along, I turn, 
she turns with me.....sigh.....my dream dog.:>) She downs, stays and knows 
the "wait" command. I can move around her and she stays, even stays when I 
return and waits for a command. She's crate trained, does not like being 
outside but will gait across my yard and back to the door to be let in. She 
does wiggle the gate latch, so she's wise to how a gate opens. I can't 
believe no one looked for this girl. She was in the Fort Wayne Animal 
Shelter for a month, but not put in the adoption ward as she wouldn't relax. 
I'm sure she can track, and may already but have yet
 to test her.

great dog when I see one. She is not the typical shelter throw away

is scheduled for spay tomorrow morning, which I wish could be done later but 
this dog is thinking that she's in her new home already.
