I think they were sure they had the horse to do it without the drugs and
wanted to prove it - didn't work out that way. Or maybe, being the fragile
animals that they are - he had an off day, heaven knows if was me in that heat
,
I would have said basically - NO WAY! Hopefully that is all it is, not some
other internal problem. Shame, it would have been nice to finally have a
Triple Crown winner after all these years. I still remember the classic
Affirmed/Alydar races - WOW!
