[ SHOWGSD-L ] O/T - Info about bloody noses in humans

Recently I've had a bloody nose on five occasions. All five have been the type
where blood pours down my face and splatters all over my clothes and the floor.
I went to the doctor last week and he took a lot of tests but haven't heard
any results yet.
He told me to go to the ER or his office while it's still bleeding so they can
figure out what's happening. I've had two since then but unfortunately, or
maybe fortunately, they only last two or three minutes and there's no way I can
get to either place while it's still bleeding. I'll be making an appointment
with an E, N, T doctor after I get the results from the current tests back.
Anyway, does anyone have any suggestion on what I can do (or should do) to stop
them or help figure out what's causing them?
