Hi All, I need some assistance with my daughter's Yorkie. This girl has a luxated patella and can't lift her one rear leg. Her other rear leg shows signs of the same problem and is taking up the slack for the bad leg. Surgery is not an option at the moment as her liver enzymes are elevated. Has anyone out there, who has a small breed dog, dealt with the luxated patellas? Are there braces or other options available to get her comfortable until surgery or that can help realign the knee? The dog does not seem to be n pain unless she overdoes things. But, trying to keep a Yorkie quiet and calm is almost worse than a GSD. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
