As those who know me know, I am trying to gain weight. I have seemed to  
plateau off at  135 pounds.  I can't get over that, and at 5' 10" that  
doesn't seem enough.  I am pleased to have gone up from 120, but before my  
surgery I was 170.  Now it is all reversed.
 
I have no esophagus or stomach.  That seems to limit my ability to  gain.
 
But, there are so many ads telling me how to lose weight, so many things on 
 the net how to lose weight and everywhere I turn telling me how to drop 
pounds,  that I find myself avoiding fattening things.
 
On the other hand, there are a lot worse things to worry about.  I  just 
wish some of the ads would talk about how to get fat.
 
It ain't easy being thin.
