They were not excluded. They left due to comittments, I am sure.
New business is always at the end of the meeting. If some of the board
has to leave early, the board should not be shut down as to conducting our
business.
This is a great topic again for discussion. It was due on September 4, 2011
anyway, and we are ahead due to the vote, and a real failure of the List
to start bitching about the location of the next National. Maybe we were
too busy with the National budget.
But, now is the time to talk about this and to let your board know how you
feel. It requires two votes, and now, is no longer new business.
I am not heading the posts on this. I did that 10 years ago, wrote some
articles about it for some magazine, (I can't remember what ones), send the
Review a picture of my friend driving a White Shepherd dog sled team, and got
tired of tiling at windmills.
I like white dogs, white people, white potatoes, white knights, white sand,
white t-shirts and white light, and Flower Boy.
Not that there is anything wrong with that.
