I went to this website http://www.visittopeka.us/quicklinks/request.php and
requested their literature. It arrived in a few days. Yesterday during lunch
I called several hotels including the one I thought might be the host hotel.
Everyone had rooms. When I called I asked if there was a negotiated rate for
our specialty. I had different places offering me all kinds of deals. Once
place told me no dogs could be left in cars at night and had to be kept in the
rooms at $10 per night. Had another place tell me they had no such rule.
Anyway, I got a room for $60 a night and they serve breakfast included in that
price.

Is there a list out for the national hotels, I am sure the host one is booked
