I am interested to know the point count for other breeds, particularly
Herding and working Breeds
Also if there are substantial differences in entries of other breeds in
specialty VERSUS all breeds shows.
Wondering in herding/working breeds with large entries what is the
percentage of pro handlers versus owner handler
Dog News, The Cronicle, Dogs in Review and other all breed periodicals
frequently contain show advertisements
depicting National Specialty Winners who also are consistent winners of
Groups and BIS -
Is this unique to other breeds? I remember GV Yoncalla's Mike going BIS at
Empire State
and also GV Lance was BIS , don't remember where. When was the last time
our GV or GVX
also garnered a BIS - just curious. Of course the all time BIS winner is
one of our own, the one

So is it just the specialty shows that are hurting? How in the heck can the
clubs handle the costs? The only thing that is keeping the Tucson club
alive is Obedience and Rally.

8= 7 dogs 8 bitches

Looks like we better start thinking of creative ways to finance dog shows or
each club better have their own judges. This is really really depressing!
Talk about last days of a sport. For the next 3 years the national is being
hosted in the area with the lowest entries. Division 6
