This is the up side of dogs. When you can find a perfect home for someone
who loves the dog, that is what counts.
Points are nice. Getting the Best of Breed, or the Grand Champion, or the
Paper-Mache Grand Champion or whatever else there is that make one feel
good.
In the end making someone's life a bit better, that is the joy of a German
shepherd, and we are pleased that O'Conner and so many of the other stud
dogs have filled that function.
Conner came from the Great Linda Battistoni. Now the Conner sons continue
the line. To extend the thread, it is a Conner daughter, Champion Asgard's
Jill, who produced the Great Exxon puppies The Heat and Champion Arson.
So, it continues.
We feel the same way about Kierk, who rules the house. Second only to
Tedi.

.. he was a certified therapy dog and never ceased to amaze me with his
ability to know just what a patient or client needed. He was especially gifted
with developmentally disabled clients who often were quite rough and vocal.
He took it all in stride and was a favorite where ever he visited.
He has also very patiently tolerated me bringing home rescue GSDS,
puppies, and other adults – he has ruled the house with a confidence and
strength
that continues to impress me. His ball drive has never diminished and he
often can be found taunting his granddaughter Luna with a jolly ball….. he
is also the dog all my friends brought their kids to see when they were
scared of dogs… and ham that he is he had them asking if they could take him
home after about 30 minutes…. CY was bred by the Ginsburgs and J. Passafiume…
