I used the Corporate Lodging Card and booked a room with a King bed and
non-smoking for $50 per night at the Ramada Inn located at
420 SE 6th St. 66607 (785-234-5400) it is 1.3 miles from the show site.
Some one said there are railroad tracks running right behind the building. I
check the satelite view and there are no tracks anywhere near there.
Just thought you might like to know. As of yesterday they still had rooms.

I reserved a room, on-line, with the Ramada near the Topeka show site.
queen beds, non-smoking, free wifi, free hot breakfast, and free microfridge.
people max. $71.20 per night, Mon 9/26 check-in, Sun 10/2 check-out.
otal bill $491.07, including tax. FIRM. Can not be changed!!
Wyndham Rewards, their parent company, is where I always book, on-line, for
amada, Days Inn, Super 8, Knight's Inn, and all their other properties.
pparently they slipped in a little bait and switch tactic when I made this one
articular reservation back in January, and they will not allow me to cancel,
or change, this reservation. I plan to stay at the host hotel, so I have this
oom, which must be used or I will be charged for it. I am arguing the point
ith them through the BBB, but, need to get this settled.
Anyone want the room? Anyone know anybody with some clout with the Wyndham
orp???
