Ok, it wasn't radio but come on you guys no one listed Rin Tin Tin, Roy
Rogers and Dale Evans with BULLET (their GSD). At one point Sky King had
GSDs, two of them, (were they white?) don't remember their names. And of
course she (ok he) wasn't a GSD but Lassie. And the Little Rascals had
Butch?? Is that right, Butch? I used to have to fight with my brothers
over watching Rin Tin Tin on Saturday mornings, I think the Lone Ranger was
on at the same time on one of the other 2 channels that we got in Phoenix.
You know, when the TV was actually working. Not doing that snow thing or
the vertical or horizontal lines, etc.

Don’t forget Inner Sanctum, The Green Hornet, The Shadow, Gene Audrey,
Tex Ritter. I used to sit on the floor by our bookcase where we kept the
radio with its wood case and big dial. Times were much simpler then. And
Dave is totally correct with regard to our imagination. We actually had one
then. Now everything is spoon fed to us. And you can’t believe any of it!

loved the pictures in my imagination better that the ones that followed on
TV.
