I love Audrey. When I bought "Nitro" (Ch. Elvaston's Nations Cup) from
her, she was amazing. She was
the most supportive, caring , cheerleading breeder I have ever known. She
conducts herself
in a manner that all breeders should emulate.
No matter the win, she would call and congratulate. I haven't spoken with
her in
several months, but I love chatting with her. She is always upbeat, and
kind, and
still so supportive.
One of the great people in our breed.

Got a chance to talk to Audrey Marsh this morning ........one of my
favorite people in 'the dog world'.
She is such a sweetie... I love her English accent and her wonderful
self-deprecating humor.
Audrey has battled serious cancer at least three times and pretty much won
the 'wars' for now.
She is 88 years old....still has one of her German Shepherd Dogs by her
side....but had to finally have
her pet crow of about twenty some years put down......and recently her pet
chicken. <G> Now it is
her and the cat and one German Shepherd dog.
Needless to say Audrey is very special....she has a marvelous sense of
humor....loves her animals
with all her heart....still gardens.....with a walker ..... as she deals
with serious back injuries from years
ago. She still loves this Breed and loves to talk dogs, and still keeps
up and wants to know who won
at the National this year. Her love for the Breed never wanes.
Through the years she managed to train horses, show dogs, grow a huge
garden and entertain me on the
phone. I love her to death, and I feel guilty if I even dare to
complain about any pain when I think of
Audrey and what she deals with.
She has wonderful friends that help her and check on her....and some of
her closest neighbors are the black
bears and cougars in the surrounding forest.
If I lived up near Port Alberni Canada I would visit her often just to
hear her talk and make me laugh....what
a gift she has been over the years.
