Hi Ann,
First of all congratulations!
I have a question for you. Since Muggles has a litter and won't be at the
National, will her progeny class still be shown?
The reason I ask is that I had (years ago) an ROM bitch who was entered, but
not shown due to a litter at home. At the time I was told her progeny could
be shown. All the proud owners with their winning progeny were looking
forward to that. The day of the presentation class, they were refused entry.
Apparently, someone got their wires crossed. I can understand a need for
specific rules etc. I think everyone needs to know exactly what is
acceptable and what is not, so that those kind of disappointments don't come
up.
My argument at that time was the classes where the sire or dam is deceased
the progeny did participate, if I remember correctly.
In the case of a ROM bitch, and breeding her for her last litter, VS. going
to the National to participate in the parade, I personally would opt for the
litter box, and the possibility of future stars.
