I know sometimes you can't get to the eggs right away, but if you bring
water to boil, shut the heat off and cover. Set timer for 20 minutes and
IMMEDEATELY put under very cold runng water and peel now, they will come off
easily.

I just roll hard boiled eggs in a paper towel on the counter until the
shells are all broken up then hold them under running water and the shells

wash away. Naturally if the next step is egg salad or some sort of filling

put the (whole)wet peeled eggs back on fresh paper towels to get the water
off, but I wouldn't think the dogs would care if the eggs were slightly
wet.
