I think it is a big distraction. Many Novice A dogs are distracted and,
remember, these are newbies learning the ropes. Many of us started in the
performance venue, including myself. I understand the limited space and I'm
not complaining, but I've even had experienced dogs distracted, especially by
an unruly animal or a sudden "woof" from a dog aggressive animal in the next
ring. Not everyone has a "totally" focused obedience dog.... LOL!! You are
quite lucky to have one of those.
