My husband, Joe & I helped our trainer last summer train & groom a so called 
"designer breed" Standard Poodle/Golden Retriever bitch. Her hair coat was a 
nightmare to groom. It had taken us days to get through the coat. The lady who 
had us train/groom this dog paid a lot of money for her as a puppy. It's 
difficult to figure out people when they want to purchase some of these 
designer breeds. So I asked this lady why she purchased this type of dog? And 
this was a lady of about 60 years of age that had been around the block a time 
or two. "I thought she was cute!" The lady replied back. I have to say, the dog 
had a great temperament to work with. But we had to clearly explain to her that 
she had to keep up to that hair coat daily. I like my GSDs to groom. Kathy

So what??

I notice most breeders seem more upset about the prices these "designer" 
breeders get for their mutts than anything else about them.  If they are 
deceiving the buying public, so do lots of other breeders!!   Look at Mr. 
Hunte, who was even a member of the GSDCA for awhile!!    Caveat Emptor.

This IS a capitalistic, free-market society we live in.  Whatever the market 
will bear works just fine until the government (federal, state, AKC, PETA, 
HSUS, and/or GSDCA) becomes involved.

Some of you guys are down-right un-American and feed right into the ARistas 
hands!!!
