Ok, Has this happened to anyone? I took my bitch into get her xrays for OFA done today. Well when they scanned her for the micro chip they could not find it. I had her chipped when she was six month old. They finally did xrays to see if they could see it. It was not there at all. Now the vet told me that in very rare circumstances, that the chip can migrate out of the body? I know it was there at one point, but were did it go? This is scary as you don't know that it is missing. Since the dog has to have identified for OFA I had them redo it, the vet impeded in the muscle instead of under the skin. He said it would less likely migrate that way. -- Connie Malo SLC, UT http://www.geocities.com/conleegsd/ ============================================================================ POST is Copyrighted 2006.
