What is the extra cost for the Amateur Futurity? The first yer rosettes were
given for placements and only the BIAF/M got placques. Judge expenses must be
added in.
What else?
Since many clubs have opted for 2 shows in one day, the extra time to hold this
event should not factor in.
None of the regular futurities have the large classes anymore, so a small entry
should not be faulted. This may be an opportunity to see another puppy from a
litter.
Compulsory compliance is the hard part of the pill for me to swallow. Clubs
should have a choice. I hope more choose to do so.

What happens if a club decides they rather not hold the Amateur Futurity,
because is not cost effective?
Do they get fined?
I agree with Carolyn, the PC should just add a class to the Fut/Mat
competition and be done. Less ribbons, less plaques, less cost, much more
common
sense. Are we not trying to save money, or cut expenses?
