Once again adding my unpopular opinion ( no wonder I got trounced in the
election...lol)...I say do like the Canadians, get rid of majors...have a dog
win 15 points under 3 different judges, end of story...I know what you're
thinking, you're thinking that will increase the amount of so-called cheap
champions, what ever that means...I say with the way this sport is going
anything that increases anything is a good thing ( except for cost
increases)...this way no one has to worry about holding or breaking
majors...the show will be worth 1,2,3,4, or 5 points depending on the number
shown...we may as well not have majors now with the decrease in numbers to make
a major...what was it 15 or so years ago you needed 60 or so bitches to make a
5 point major.....now its hard to find a specialty with 60 dogs total....it
will never happen, but it should...Ed Hill
