Specialty Show, Dr. Didier Ardoin, judge

According to D.D., Bonnie and I started in German Shepherds in
1965. We have owned/co-owned and or bred/co-bred over 15 Champions. Our first
three Champions were German imports. We have owned a Canadian Grand Victrix
and Canadian Seigeren. We have bred a National Futurity Victor and have owned
or bred three US select animals. Our kennel name is Zahnarzt which means
Dentist in German. I was a co-owner of the Number 3 dog All-Breeds for two
years and the top Herding dog in the US for two years. I have been judging
since 1975 and appreciate the opportunity to judge the Quad Cities show.

            Amateur Futurity/Maturity, Cindy Bartley, judge

Cindy writes: "Our kennel name is Chablis' German Shepherds. I
have been involved with GSDs since 1985 and have bred and owned 2 select
American chapions and a futurity victor, and owned a maturity victrix and
showed the Grand Victrix in 1996. I have also owned 4 Canadian selects. I
have been married to Bart for 15 years in February [2007]. I'm also the
biggest addict to Africam. Oh, yeah, I think World Peace is most
important--Oh, I forgot, I'm not running for Miss America!

                   Midwest Futurity/Maturity, Kathy Potter, judge

In Kathy's words, "My love for the German Shepherd Dog began in
1976 when the Potter family purchased their first GSD. They began showing at
that time in Conformation and since then have shown in Conformation, Obedience
and Junior Showmanship.

"We have bred and/or owned and co-owned and finished 30+ Champions,
3 ROMs and those GSDs have been awarded many National titles--Select, AOE
Select, Best Puppy, Best Veteran Bitch, and Maturity Victrix as well as class
placings. We continue to show in the breed ring, although on a more limited
basis.

"I have had my judging license since 1994 and have enjoyed judging
Specialty, All Breed and Futurities in all regions. I also love doing Junior
Showmanship, since it was an early endeavor in the Potter family."

Specialty Show, Mr. Robert Freeny, judge

Bob started in the breed in the 60s. He bred and owned Double GV
Ch. Yoncalla's Mike and Select Ch. Wilhelm Auf Der Winterzeit (Big Boy). He
has always maintained that having Mike and Big Boy to look at every day in the
yard or house was the best learning experience to know what the standard was
all about, because they WERE the standard. Bob bred or owned other champions
over the years with the most recent being 4 champions in the last three years.
He is owner of the Best Puppy at the 2006 National. He has been a member of
the GSDC of America since the 60s, and President of the GSDC of Ventura on and
off over the years. As a judge he believes in judging the total dog. Movement
is what he's known for, and he loves a beautiful-moving dog, but the dog must
also have the overall quality to win the day with him.
