[ SHOWGSD-L ] Looking for help

Abby and I are a registered Pet Partner team (formerly Delta Society), and we 
just became a registered R.E.A.D. team. We're working with an 11 year old 
reading at a second-grade level and with an autistic child who only speaks at 
home. Does anyone know of any children's books -- maybe grades 2-4 -- featuring 
a GSD? I know Maurice Sendak has a couple, but I think they're pretty intense 
for these boys. 

Any suggestions will be gratefully accepted.
