Are you talking about supplementing their diets when they are in whelp w/ it
or using it as a shot either alone or in conjunction w/ pit during whelping?
If it's the first DO NOT. When you add liquid or pills, the bitch's body
actually becomes less efficient and once she has her babies you are setting up
for a case of eclampsia.

It's perfectly fine to add ice cream, yogurt or cottage cheese. Stay away
from the actual supplements.
