A few weeks ago, 2 mounted riders were hit on the roadside by a drunk truck
driver. One horse was euthanized immediately when Veterinarians arrived on the
scene, one horse was taken to a local large animal ER and both riders [one
critically hurt, to hospital]. If the law does stand in the way, it didn't
that day.
