Uhhmmnn... I did not want to get this heavy into this discussion because the
definition of linebreeding is sometimes muddy. However the reality is that
Lance was linebred 4 5,5 on Rosal v Osnabruckerland.
On Lance's sire side (Fortune) Rosal was the dam of Lende v Richterbach who
was Troll v Richterbach's dam. And Lance's dam, Elsa, was linebred 3,3 on
Hein v Richterbach, who was a Rosal v Osnabruckerland son thus making Elsa 4,
4
on Rosal.
As has been said before by others, the "R" litter of Osnabruckerland,
including Rosal, sisters Reina and Rena and brother Rolf v Osnabruckerland
were
very popular in Germany and there were many very close breedings done on this
litter. BTW, I don't know much about German lines but I understand that Rolf
is behind the popular Wienerau dogs.
