I hope nobody's buying anything from this outfit....................have
you read their own history, on their website?

Second only to Hunte Corp.

Looking around, they seem to have started off as BYB, as they proudly
cite in their history. One of their legislative goals is to get rid of
pesty private breeders who would become illegal, compared to those nice
USDA registered places. I love the following from the "support" page off
that link :

Don't call Lambriar® with the following questions. These are the
responsibility of the selling retailer.

How big are the parents? Lambriar® doesn't know and the retailer doesn't
know. You can write to the breeder after registration papers are
received. The size of the parents isn't always a determining factor in
the size of your pet. Breed standards will give you a general range.

Why were the surgeries performed?
Ask your retailer.

Where did my puppy come from?
Lambriar® markets puppies from USDA inspected and licensed, reputable
breeders only. We have been a leading pet supplier for over 36 years and
have always maintained and demanded the highest standards possible from
our suppliers. Lambriar® accepts puppies only from breeders licensed
through the United States Department of Agriculture and by state license
programs who have adhered to the most stringent standards. All suppliers
and breeders have to meet the standards of the USDA.

 From the history page:

Roger and Darlene Lambert founded Lambriar® Kennels in 1969 starting
with the family pets, Mis-Behaven and Powder Puff, steadily growing to
become the nation's leading supplier of companion animals. Roger and
Darlene's daughter, Michelle, and her husband, Loren serve as
Vice-President and General Manager.

Lambriar® employs over 100 individuals including full and part time
staff veterinarians.

Lambriar® is very active in state and federal legislation that supports
regulations to keep the pet industry safe and comfortable for the
animals involved. Lambriar® in no way supports illegal kennels or those
with a history of problems meeting USDA requirements. Our goal has
always been, and will always be to provide happy, healthy animals to
responsible pet retailers.
