Well, that was a real scare about my computer. Turns out they had put in a
faulty memory board or something (a computer is like my car - I love it when
it works and don't understand anything about it otherwise!). So Staples
fixed the problem and I am back in business.
Now to take the suggestions of backing everything up. Sounds like a very
good idea!!
