The membership should be thanked for continuing to support The Review. I
jumped in as a volunteer Review liaison and helper in February 2017.
Kathleen and Jessica do all the work.
Due to an increase in advertisements, (86% increase May-August 2016 versus
May-August 2017) lower costs, and Kathleen negotiating better printing
rates, the price to advertise a color ad went from $425 down to $295. The
August Issue in 2016 was 75 pages; in 2017 that has grown to 116. Please
continue to submit articles!
So that everyone understands all 3 paid positions GSDCA went out for bid in
2017. To the best of my knowledge; Kathleen plans to apply for The Editor
position.
Again; the membership has been a tremendous part of the growth.
