[ SHOWGSD-L ] K9 Officer Vesting

The GSD Club of Central Indiana is proud to announce to formal "vesting" of one
of our local K9 police officers. Last night, at the Lebanon, Indiana Police
Department, K9 Officer Jakob von Steinbaum was presented with a bullet and stab
proof vest. To make it even sweeter, Jakob was bred by two of our own members
and the presentation was made by his breeder, Ron Harris. Jakob comes from a
long line of SchH3, IP03, Police Dogs, AKC titled dogs. What a pleasure to be
able to help protect "one of our own".
The funds for the vest were raised by the GSDCCII through raffles and donations
collected at our Spring Obedience/Rally and Conformation shows. Thanks to all
who contributed.
