No, lol it's to let you know if a door is open then isn't closed properly.
In this case it didn't work...the door was closed tight and the damned
thing kept going off. So I thought maybe it wasn't level (????)...but it was.
Then I took things off the door...no dice.
You'll enjoy this...after running down the steps countless times I pulled
out the manual...I over-rode the dammed alarm by setting the "Sabbath
mode"...and it stayed in Sabbath mode (quiet) until the repair man came.
I honestly didn't know there WAS such a thing as "Sabbath mode"!
