Awhile back someone posted about why judges do not critique more. When you
read the comments on Monte Alban, and I am using him as an example, you will
see that critiques are, for the most part, almost useless.
If you have the years and experience in the breed to know some of these
judges you know which ones to read and be able to gain from. Others, well
lets say.... makes you wonder if they were seeing the same dog and we were
at the same dog show. Then you have the "politically correct ones" that say
nothing.
Monte Alban's critiques are a good example but take the time and read into
more on the GS Reviewed pages.
It's a shame as this could be such a useful tool and I wonder if someone
could not make up a form for judges to fill in?
