To lower the junior membership age yo nine years from ten years old will
require a by-laws change that must be voted on by the Board then sent to the
AKC for their approval then sent to the membership for a 2/3 majority vote then
it will become effective. Carol is right about the AKC lowering the age for
juniors. To decrease costs to the parent club, I suggest this be submitted
along with the next by-laws change the Board thinks is needed. D.D.
